It’s just over one month to go until Awin’s affiliate marketing conference, The Affiliate Code educates and inspires over 300 guests at London tech venue, CodeNode.
Taking place on June 14, the one-day event offers keynotes, track sessions and panels full of takeaways for attendees to implement straight into their marketing strategy. Guests will hear from well-known faces from the world of technology, publishing and law, as well as from Awin’s London team and executive board.

Welcome remarks, keynote speakers and panel sessions
Awin’s UK country manager, Ian Charlesworth will open the event before WIRED’s executive editor, Jeremy White delivers the conference’s first keynote, discussing tech megatrends of today. Jeremy seeks out products at the very cutting edge of innovation and will touch on how AI helps businesses move more quickly, the shift in corporate structures and how businesses can have a better relationship with their clients through machine learning.
Eitan Jankelewitz of Sheridans law firm follows Jeremy’s keynote as he discusses GDPR and its impact within the affiliate channel. Eitan specialises in data law and e-commerce so also expect a whistle-stop tour of additional key GDPR topics.
Breton Fischetti, VP of e-commerce, Business Insider provides the final keynote of the event discussing the future of publishing. Breton has been with Business Insider for over six years and will discuss how the affiliate channel has been successful for the company alongside how publishers can respond to the impacts of industry disruption.
The conference will see Awin’s executive board come together for a panel session on the main stage as they share the vision, strategy and future plans for the business with guests.
Tailor The Affiliate Code agenda to your needs
The conference hosts three streams dedicated to industry related topics; Diversification, Making Affiliate Marketing Easier and Industry Insights. With nine sessions in total, attendees can attend the talks most relevant to their business needs as well as drop into The Lab at any point during the day to ask Awin anything.
Stream one: Industry Insights
Guests in the world of telecoms, fashion and travel will benefit from sector talks throughout the afternoon. Telco’s ‘Need for Speed’ talk focuses on the rise of Ultrafast Broadband and 5G and gives recommendations on how advertisers and publishers can capitalise on the future market trends. Fashion’s ‘What’s Trending?’ session will be delivered by Awin’s senior account director, Joelle Hillman as she looks at changes in the publisher landscape and the macroeconomic factors impacting retail e-commerce ecosystems. For the Travel sector, Awin’s travel specialist Stamatina Retsa’s talk on ‘The Digital Future of Travel’ brings main trends and challenges to light which are designed to shape and shake the travel industry by 2021, revealing practical applications for both brands and publishers.
Stream two: Diversification
Awin’s influencer marketing consultant, Carina Toledo will bring the magnifying glass onto influencer marketing, understanding it’s rise and avoiding potential pitfalls in her ‘New Era of Influence’ session before a presentation brought to us by session sponsor and remarketer Yieldify and a case study based Globalisation session looking at how retailers have had success internationalising with Awin, focusing on specific regional ‘spotlights’ and what drives strong performance in those markets.
Stream three: Making Affiliate Marketing Easier
The Making Affiliate Marketing Easier stream allows guests both new and experienced in the industry to spend time with Awin’s dedicated Publisher Services Team. Team leader, Alex Perry will share common publisher frustrations and what advertisers can do to run a programme that publishers will love in the ‘10 things publishers hate about you’ session. Followed by ‘Awin’s 2018 Affiliate Marketing predictions revisited’ which revisits and reviews the annual affiliate marketing trends that Awin predicted for the industry at the start of the year.
