Performance marketing company NMPi has acquired MediaPact, a paid social specialist based in Los Angeles.

While terms of the deal weren’t announced, the acquisition of the ‘boutique’ social advertising specialist follows NMPi’s opening of two new offices in the US, and will help to further establish its market presence and growth in the paid social market.

MediaPact offers paid social advertising on a performance model, and cites clients including Fabletics, JustFab and Nicequest, offering specific expertise in what NMPi has called a “match made in heaven” to the benefit of its clients across the globe.

“We are always looking for ways to strengthen our service offering and from the beginning, it has been clear that NMPi and MediaPact’s similar heritage, rooted in performance marketing, makes us a great match,” said Luke Judge, CEO of NMPi.

“Paid social has been an integral part of our proposition for a number of years, and this expansion of our knowledge couldn’t come at a better time,” he continued.

“MediaPact’s American influence will help support our continued growth in the US market, and will also allow our clients to gain earlier access to Facebook and Instagram betas that are launched overseas first.”

Judge added that the knowledge inherited from MediaPact will amplify its current expertise and reach within paid social – a service that is “growing exponentially” within the business.

MediaPact’s senior customer success manager, Nathan McCurley, added his thoughts: “Social media marketing remains a vital part of our strategic offering and we’re excited for the joint benefits this acquisition will bring.”

According to the announcement, the acquisition is evidence that NMPi “has no plans to slow down” both in terms of services and international activity following a successful 2017.

NMPi also claimed a host of awards at the Performance Marketing Awards 2018, including Best Paid Search Campaign, Best Travel & Leisure Campaign, Best Use of Automation & AI, and highly-commended in Global Excellence.
